redundancy analysis biplots

By Bob | Jul 13, 2016 09:19PM CEST

In the RDA module, what are "type 1, 2, and 3" biplots? Which one is a correlation biplot, and which is one that uses euclidean distances? I'm having difficulty interpreting the meaning of these biplots.

Dear Bob,

The Biplot type option (1, 2, or 3) changes the way the scores of the response variables and the observations are scaled.
You can find a detailed description on how this scale is computed in the XLSTAT documentation available here, page 1289 (section Biplot scaling)

Don’t hesitate to contact us at support@xlstat.com for any further information.
