Choice Based Conjoint Analysis for subgroups

By Merlijn Schuurbiers | Jul 18, 2016 05:07PM CEST

I conducted a Choice Based Conjoint Analysis using XLstat to compare three attributes with each other. However, I now only know the importance of each factor for all of my respondents. I also have data about their gender, age and so on which I would like to incorporate into the analysis. Basically, I would like to know if these demographic factors influence the importance of these tree attributes and in what way. How do I include these factors in my discrete choice analysis?

I will be most grateful for any help you can provide!

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.
You can activate the option “Group variable” appeared in the general tab and then select a column containing the group identifiers, such as gender.
Please notice that only one group variable can be used each time. This has to be a qualitative one so I advise you to use classes of age.

Regards,
