Error in Ternary Diagram (3 variables not equal to 1 but 100)

By Majid Ullah | Oct 19, 2017 07:28PM CEST

Hello there_!
I just installed xlstat, and started work, I have three variables (Quartz, Feldspar, Lithics) whose sum isn't equal to 1 but 100 (like Quartz=60 Feldspar=30 Lithics=10). so I got this XLSTAT Problem Message [The sum of the cooedinate must be equal to , and this is not the case with 1th observation. Please check your data].
Please guide me, what should I do?
Thanks in advance

Hello Majid,

You should set the constant at 100 in the options tab within the ternary diagrams dialog box.

All the best,

Jean Paul
