# correspondence analysis

Hi, I am reading the tutorial for correspondence analysis. In the result part of the tutorial, you got a table showing the weights, distances and squared
distances to the origin, inertias and relative inertias of the rows. I am wondering what kind of distance coefficient you used for the distance calculation.

Hello,

In the tutorial we use the default distance in XLSTAT, which is the chi-square distance. Note that it is possible to use the Hellinger distance instead (under the Options tab).

Hola,

Hice el MCA con 11 variables, tres variables (f1,f2,f3) aportan el 65% de la varianza total. Sin embargo, los valores -test solo me aparecen significativos para algunas categorías de F1 y tan solo 1 categoria de F2.
¿Es posible realizar una interpretación de estos resultados? o es necesario revisar los datos para tener más categorias signficativas que me expiquen F2 y F3, de manera que proseguir con el analisis de clúster jerárquico.
