Logistic regression comparing probit models

By Aruna | Jan 30, 2018 03:10PM CET

Hi I have XLSTAT Base and would like to run a logistic regression using a probit model to predict a 50% response variable and to compare probit parameter estimates between different subjects exposed to the same series of doses. I would be grateful for your advice on whether this will be possible on the XLSTAT Base and if so how do I proceed to predict the 50% response variable.

Hi Aruna,

Thanks for your question. Yep this is definitely possible in XLSTAT-Base. Run your probit analysis using Modeling data / logistic regression. Make sure you select Probit instead of Logit in the Model option. And most important: activate the Probability analysis in the Outputs tab.
