How to represent a Qualitative Covariate in PLS PM
By Carlos M. Rodriguez | Mar 29, 2018 02:49AM CEST
Dear Colleagues: I am trying to run a PLS PM model where I need a covariate (0 vs 1) to be modeled as interacting with several variables simultaneously to impact the dependent variable. This covariate will be a qualitative (which I suspect to model as quantitative variable) and will allow me to create "interaction" terms to impact the dependent. How do I model this in PLS PM? Is it better to use the group comparison (groups 0 and 1)? Any ideas?
Thanks
Carlos

Dear Carlos,
The group comparison approach can be used in the case of a qualitative moderating effect.
A tutorial is available here.
