Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test

By Bo Zhang | Mar 29, 2018 06:18PM CEST

I am using the K-S test to compare two distributions of proportions in which the order of the categories matters. However, it appears that the order of the proportions is changed when the K-S test compares the two distributions. How can the ordering of the proportion rules be preserved when running the test? Thank you!

Hello Bo,
This test is appropriate for comparing two continuous distributions.
I suggest you using the multinomial goodness of fit test. You will find an example here.
