I run an Anova and among the results appear a correlation matrix. As the dependent variable is qualitative, I do not understand how this matrix was calculated. I cannot find any explanation in your documentation. Could you please explain?
ANOVA and regression are closely related .
In ANOVA, the intercept is considered as the mean of the reference group and coefficients of others groups are the differences in the mean between the reference group and the others.
So as the linear regression use correlation matrix, anova uses it too to solve the model coefficients.
