I use CCA to find some enviromental factors with the distribution of Zoobenthos.
I am using CCA but I am always getting the error message: The constraints of the method are not respected. The computations must be stopped.
I try use PLS-CCA, I did not get the expected results and i do not know what to do.
Please help me.

Hello Lucy,

The constraint to use classical CCA is that Min(n – 1 – pX, pY – 1) must be strictly greater than 0, where n is the number of observations (or sites), pX is the number of variables and pY the number of objects.

If you get this error message, it means that your data violate the above conditions.

You may try to remove some variables or add more observations if you do not want to use the PLS-CCA.

Regards,
