Cox proportional hazards model

By Bridgett | Apr 29, 2018 07:02AM CEST

Hello, I'm trying to run the cox proportional hazards model in excel and am having trouble understanding what data goes where. I want to compare the survival of males vs. females in an experiment. I have one column representing the length of time, one column with male survival data, and one column with female survival data. I want to see if the difference between male and female survival is significant. I don't know what to input into "time data, status indicator, quantitative, or strata." I don't understand how to input the survival data from the 2 columns I have. Please help me.
