Essential Library Missing error when launching XLSTAT

For your information, here is the possible default installation paths of the XLSTAT installation folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Addinsoft\XLSTAT
C:\Program Files\Addinsoft\XLSTAT
%localAppData%\Programs\Addinsoft\XLSTAT

If you have just installed an older version of XLSTAT, close Microsoft Excel completely, then reopen XLSTAT.

Check the security properties of the file XLSTATCR1C.dll - Check that there is not a specific Group that would deny access to this file. If so, you must see your IT service to allow access to the XLSTAT folder and subfolders/files contained inside.

Ensure that it is not the Antivirus that is blocking some XLSTAT files
Antivirus doesn't always show an alert, so it is something to check nevertheless in the quarantine and to be sure the antivirus is not involved the best is to add the XLSTAT folder to the exclusion list. If you are using a company computer and/or network, we suggest you request the help of your IT service regarding security matters. This tutorial might be helpful. -
Check if you don't have an old XLSTAT file left in the System32 folder

Go to the C:\Windows\System32 folder and search the keyword XLSTAT.

If you find any files with XLSTAT in their name so delete them.

Reinstall XLSTAT

Close Excel.

Download and launch the Cleaner tool.

Reinstall the last version of XLSTAT.

Restart the computer using the restart function and not turn off / turn on.

Start XLSTAT from the XLSTATSTART.exe launcher or the icon you normally got on your Desktop.

For Mac:

Check if this is not due to your antivirus (alert, xlstat files in quarantine)

Open Excel

Go to Tools/Excel Add-ins...

Unselect XLSTAT Starter and click OK

Go back to Tools/Excel Add-ins...

Select again XLSTAT Starter and click OK

Reinstall the last version of XLSTAT

Restart the computer using the restart function and not turn off / turn on

Start XLSTAT from the launcher in your Applications
If using an Excel file from Dropbox:
It is possible ton encounter the same error message when opening Excel through the Dropbox application directly, that’s why we don’t recommend to do so.
To be sure that you can use XLSTAT properly, please open an Excel file from the Dropbox folder which you can find on your computer, or alternatively by downloading the document from Dropbox to your computer.
